THE Canary Islands was the perfect honeymoon destination for one Dorset couple.

Bride Kylie Selina Membury and groom William John Good jetted off to Fuerteventura after tying the knot at St Mary’s Church, in South Street, Bridport, followed by a reception at Highlands End at Eype.

Bride Kylie is the daughter of Roye and Lynda Membury.

Her parents, nan Mary Mallows, and aunt Julie flew over for the wedding from Fuerteventura.

The groom, who works for Palmers Brewery, is the son of John Good and Dawn Fry.

Kylie travelled to the church in an Austin Seven with her father, while maid of honour Lynda Membury and her bridesmaids arrived in two limousines.

Her bridesmaids were Debbie Poole, Nicole Muth, Hannah Ormsby, Sophie Hall, and the bride and groom’s daughters Macie Good and Evey Cornock-Stark.

The ushers were Martin Rowe, Chris Good, Sam Good and Dean Sweet. Joe Wyatt was the best man.

The bride wore a white satin dress with Swarovski crystal detail, and wore a tiara and jewellery made for her by her mum Lynda, also made with Swarovski crystals.

Kylie made her own bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets and button holes.

After making her own wedding cake, she made and iced a further 16 cakes with her nan for the reception.

The bride and groom want to say thank you not only to their family, but to everyone that made their day special.
