A WOMAN is believed to have suffered spinal injuries in a multi-car crash on the Weymouth Relief Road.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the driver of a grey Vauxhall Corsa lost control of the vehicle and collided into a silver Daewoo Matiz.
The spokesman added: “The Corsa then crossed into the opposite carriageway where it collided with a red Ford Focus. A white vehicle was also at the scene but as it did not stop, it is not known what make or model it was.”
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, an 18-year-old woman from Dorchester, suffered possible spinal injuries.
The Ford Focus driver, a 50-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and his passenger suffered serious hand and chest injuries. All injured parties were taken to hospital and a 67-year-old man from Dorchester, who was driving the Daewoo Matiz, was treated at the scene.
Dorset Police are asking anyone with information about the accident, which happened at 3.25pm on Sunday near the Jurassic roundabout, to call 101.
