Can I thank my neighbours for coming out at 9am last Saturday to help clean up our bit of Bridport Road, Dorchester? Out they came, at that ungodly hour, to sweep, weed, scoop and bag the rubbish along the pavement – not to mention the gutters – and at the end of just over an hour it was spotless – brilliant! And a big thanks too to the lovely landlord of The Sydney Arms for disposing of it all for us. The community spirit lives (at least in this part of Dorchester).
