Police are investigating after a Weymouth flat is believed to have been deliberately set alight.
The fire, in a ground floor flat on Chickerell Road, happened just after 2am this morning.
Dorset Fire and Rescue service said two crews from Weymouth attended, and a further pump was sent from Portland to tackle the fire.
The flat was being used as a squat and investigations are today being carried out.
