A happy group of people gathered on Portland Road to cheer Paul Smith on his way to the Arsenal Emirate Stadium on the first day of his Wheelchair Challenge 200.
Members of the local Save the Children committee and pupils from All Saints School joined with other supporters at Wyke Regis Garage to show their appreciation of his magnificent effort in aid of Save the Children.
Thank you to everyone at Wyke Garage for their practical help and to the people who put cash in the collecting box. £50 was added to Paul’s website.
