TWO giant chocolate hares helped boost funds in aid of children.

House of Dorchester, the premium British chocolatier, helped two charities with fundraising efforts this Easter with the donation of two specially created chocolate hares.

Julia’s House, based in Dorchester, raised a whopping £630 in a raffle at Barclays House, which incorporated matched funding from Barclays. It is Dorset’s only hospice dedicated to children with life-limiting conditions.

The Children’s Trust, which provides specialist care for severely disabled children, auctioned their 2.8kg chocolate masterpiece, raising £170. Katherine Ebbs, marketing operations manager of House of Dorchester, said: “We commend the Children’s Trust and Julia’s House for the excellent work that they do and hope to continue to support both charities in the future.”
