A Portland man has been cleared of two counts of rape.
Daniel Thomas Anthony Gilchrist, of Grangecroft Road, who had denied the charges against him, was found not guilty by a jury following a trial at Bournemouth Crown Court.
The 39-year-old was cleared of two allegations of raping a 15-year-old girl on Portland.
The jury of nine women and three men reached the verdict following a four day trial.
The 15-year-old alleged victim claimed the offences took place between March 1, 2006 and August 1, 2006.
