DORSET’S bathing waters will soon be tested to make sure they’re up to standard.
Environment Agency teams will be taking samples every week until September.
They will be used to assess the water quality at the beaches and the results will be shared so people can choose where and when to bathe.
It will also help pinpoint any sources of pollution.
Jonathan Ponting, from the Environment Agency, said: “Bathing water quality is at an all time high, but there is more work to do to drive further improvements.”
