Woman attacked in Bridport home in 'nasty and callous' burglary

A WOMAN was assaulted by two men who broke into her home in Bridport, police said.
The pair made off with jewellery and clothing following the break-in.
The 45-year-old victim suffered soreness to her face in the incident which happened in West Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Detective Constable Gavin Roy said: "This is a particularly nasty and callous incident which has understandably caused the victim a lot of distress."
Police are appealing for witnesses.
