It was with disbelief that I heard the news from my eight-year-old son last night that the new Dorchester Sports Centre has no sports hall and that his badminton lessons were now going to be held in a hall in a nearby school, which are unable to accommodate them on the same day.
I have never come across a “sports centre” that is unable to have “sports” in it due to a lack of facilities. What is going to happen to the current centre?
Can WDDC not give permission to use the hall until something more permanent is arranged?
