WAGGLY tails and handsome hounds will be judged as an animal rehoming centre near Dorchester holds an Open Day and Fun Dog Show.
The RSPCA Taylors Rehoming Centre at Kingston Maurward will be opening its doors from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, August 19.
There will be tombolas, cakes, plants, a grand raffle, a barbecue and a chance to walk around the centre and meet the animals living there.
One of the highlights will also be a Petless Pet Show, where people enter photos of their animals into classes such as longest tail, finest whiskers, most handsome male pet, prettiest female pet, most contented animal rehomed from Taylors and most unusual colour.
Entry costs 50p per photo and there are rosettes and certificates up for grabs.
New for this year’s event will be the Fun Dog Show.
Entry costs £1 per class and entry forms can be downloaded at westdorsetrspca.org
