I have every sympathy for the family and friends of Lewis Monks after the devastating tragedy that took his life.
However instead of a colourful tribute to his life on the pavement near Asda, we have a pile of rotting flowers and empty beer cans and bottles which is unsightly.
The council has to take the responsibility to tidy this up, which I thought would have been done prior to the Olympics .
Then maybe a simple tribute could be left to mark the life of a lovely young lad.
