Congratulations to the budget-slashing council for returning to office. Might I ask whether they care to slash the grass in Preston please?
As a proud resident I don’t like eight-inch tall grass on the green at Fisherbridge Road.
Or is this part of the ‘green legacy’ of the Games?
Perhaps having lush meadows will encourage wildlife beyond drunken tourists finding somewhere to sleep between the bus stop and caravan site?
Having freshly elected Ian Bruce of the budget-slashing party, perhaps he wishes his ward to lead the way in poor maintenance in favour of lower council tax?
