PEOPLE are being challenged to spend a night in the open this weekend to raise funds for homeless people in Dorchester .
Bournemouth Churches Housing Association is holding The Big Sleep Out on West Bexington Beach on Saturday in aid of The Hub centre for the homeless in the county town.
Those taking part will spend the night outside to try and gain an insight into life on the streets. Participants are advised to bring warm and waterproof clothing s well as sleeping bag and ground sheets or cardboard boxes.
Anyone taking part is asked to pay a £10 registration fee and pledge to raise £50 sponsorship.
