SUPERHEROES are needed to take some giant strides for charity.
The first Cerne Burn event is being held at Minterne Magna, near Cerne Abbas, on Sunday, September 30 at 11am in aid of the Wessex Autistic Society.
People are being encouraged to turn up in a superhero costume to add to the fun atmosphere of a 2k fun run and a 10k run, which take place in the grounds of Minterne House, close to the famous Cerne Abbas Giant. To enter the race visit charity-run.co.uk Pre-entry for the 10k run costs £10 or £12 on the day.
The 2k fun run costs £3 ahead of the event or £5 on the day.
Parking on the day is free and every runner will receive a celebratory medal and doughnuts.
