DORCHESTER Round Table is opening its doors to new members.

The community group is urging people to turn over a new leaf with the changing seasons and get involved with the organisation.

Jason Thomson, from Round Table, said: “With children back at school and adults returning to work after taking time off for holidays, men typically look for new social activities as the dark evenings draw in, scuppering any outdoor afterwork plans.”

He said his group offered the chance for personal development through skills such as speech writing and public speaking as well as a host of social activities, networking opportunities and the chance to give something back to the local community.

Jason said: “Round Table is all about providing a fun and relaxed environment where men from all walks of life can socialise and get involved in all kinds of team activities and trips.
