Mass media and the Industrial Revolution are two of the subjects on offer as part of Workers’ Educational Association courses in Bridport this autumn.
Tutor Terence Hunt will introduce students to sociology and the media in six sessions on Tuesdays from 2pm to 3pm, starting on October 2.
Dr Mick Atkinson will examine the nature and causes of the industrial revolution over six sessions from 2pm to 3.30pm on Wednesdays starting on October 17. The courses will be held at the St John Ambulance Hall in Rax Lane and cost £35 or are free for students receiving income related benefit.
