AN EMERGENCY call to Portland Coastguard last night reporting a person had fallen over a cliff was a hoax.
The 999 call was made on Thursday evening from a young woman, believed to be in Bournemouth.
Further questioning revealed the caller was making a false and malicious call. Dorset Police were informed.
