A SERVICE of celebration for the life of Robert Prowse will be held later this month.

The family of the missing Purbeck Isle crewman will be holding a special service of celebration for his life on October 24, at noon at Holy Trinity Church on Weymouth harbourside.

Mr Prowse would have celebrated his 21st birthday on that date.

Afterwards there will be a gathering at the Admiral Hardy on Chickerell Road.

Mr Prowse’s family have requested no flowers but a collection will be held that will be split equally between the Purbeck Isle Memorial Fund and the Weymouth lifeboat.

Peter Prowse, Robert’s father said he and the family would be wearing hoodies as Robert always wore them and that everyone should come and celebrate Robert’s life with them.
