POLICE are appealing for information after metal fencing worth more than £1,000 was stolen from a business in Bridport.

Officers in the town want to trace the stolen goods and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

The galvanised wire stock fencing was stolen from a commercial yard at a trading estate in Bridport between 2.30am and 2.45am on Friday, October 12.

Around 24 rolls of the metal wire fencing were stolen.

PC Sean Cannon, of Bridport Police, said: “The theft of these expensive items has caused great financial loss to the proprietor.”
