THE hunt is on for thieves who stole a statue from a garden in West Dorset.
The classic Roman-style statue of a half-naked woman was taken from the garden on the High Street in Burton Bradstock at around 12.50am on Friday October 12.
The statue measures five feet high and is made of concrete.
Dorset Police are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who has been offered the statue in ‘strange circumstances, seen it for sale or found it abandoned.’ Anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101.
