POLICE are investigating the death of a Dorset woman whose car fell off a cliff on the Isle of Wight.
Officers were called by a member of the public to an area west of Compton Chine Farm, Military Road in Brook on Tuesday evening after the car fell around 200ft from the cliff.
A woman in her late 40s, who is believed to have been the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was recovered from the vehicle and taken to hospital. The death is not being treated as suspicious. Police have not yet said where in Dorset the woman was from.
