Dorset charity asking for donations to help soldiers away at Christmas

A CHARITY sending parcels to troops serving on the front line is appealing for donations to help bring some festive cheer to our soldiers.

Support Our Soldiers is asking for donations for shoeboxes that will be sent out to members of the Armed Forces serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and other overseas operations.

Last year the charity sent out more than 9,000 parcels.
