A NEWLYWED couple walked through a firefighters’ guard of honour.

Swanage retained firefighter Andy Mutter, 26, and Cat Hall, 23, emerged from St Mary’s Church in Swanage through the guard of honour of Andy’s colleagues on their big day on Saturday, June 14.

The happy couple were joined by around 250 friends and family for the reception at All Saints Church in Swanage.

Andy has been a retained firefighter for three years and Cat will be starting a new job when they return from their honeymoon, as well as having a second job with health and wellness company Arbonne.

The happy couple met at church in Bournemouth. Andy said he proposed exactly a year after they met. They went to Prior Park in Bath for the day and Andy proposed on a bridge over a lake surrounded by the gardens.

The couple would like to thank their parents, family and friends for sharing in their wonderful day.

Andy said: “A lot of people from All Saints Church really helped out for the evening.

“They decorated and helped serve the drinks.

“Thanks also to the firefighters for the guard of honour.”

The couple spent a week on honeymoon in Rhodes.
