WEYMOUTH couple Danielle Coutts and Charlie Kenderdine, both 29, married at St Laurence Church in Upwey surrounded by 120 family and friends.

The pair have known each other since they were 11 years old, and were school friends at Wey Valley School.

Danielle said a chance meeting three years ago led to their first date date on July 12, 2011, and they have continued marking the date ever since with their engagement on July 12, 2012 and wedding on July 12, 2014.

The newlyweds held their reception at Westbrook House, which was attended by over 250 people and they had drinks and canapés on the terrace followed by a hog-roast.

Later there was a disco and gig from a live band, when the groom’s father played the drums for a few songs with the band.

The couple had a pale pink and ivory English country garden wedding theme and had a three-tier sponge cake covered in iced roses.

Danielle said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our family and friends that came and made our day so special, and also to Reverend Simmons, Caroline and Alan at Westbrook House, Tim at Oakleaf Marquees and Chris Whitefield for our beautiful photos.”
