LANDLORDS of a Weymouth pub have donated money to the lifeboat station for the third year in a row.
Owners of The Red Lion, Tim and Linda Bird and Brian McLaughlin, handed over a cheque worth £530 to the Weymouth RNLI station.
They also handed them an additional donation of £100 in memory of Tim’s late aunty, Moyra Parker. The money was raised by donating 10p from every pint of Lifeboat Ale that the Hope Square pub has sold in the last year.
Lifeboat coxswain Andy Sargent from Weymouth RNLI said: “I am very pleased that the Red Lion team continue to support the RNLI charity by raising funds for us year after year.”
