NEWLYWEDS Barney and Charlotte Stevens celebrated their big day surrounded by family and friends.
The couple, from Bridport and Dorchester respectively, met while on a charity mountain climb up Kilimanjaro and have known each other for two years.
They held their wedding celebrations over two days, holding a ceremony at Haselbury Mill in Chard for 30 family and close friends and their reception at the Galley Bistro in Weymouth for 150 guests.
They had a themed wedding with a four tier wedding cake in the shape of a birdcage.
Charlotte, who is a support worker, said she’d like to thank her parents for their financial support for their special day.
She added: “We’d like to thank my cousin Sarah Andrews and Barney’s sister Zoe Cary for helping to organise the day and being a bridesmaid and best man, as well as Barney’s friend Tom Caulfield who was also his best man.”
She said they are hoping to spend their honeymoon in St Lucia next year.
