DORSET Police are appealing for witnesses after a house was burgled in Dorchester when the occupants were on holiday.
The burglars gained entry to the house, on the Prince of Wales Road, by smashing a rear window sometime between midday November 11 and 1pm November 30, when the people were away.
The victims reported the crime on November 30 when they returned to the house.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said it was unclear if anything had been taken by the burglars during the raid, but the house had been left in a mess when the occupants reported the crime.
To contact Dorset Police with information regarding this crime, call them on 101 and quote the incident number 30:222.
