MARK STEVEN HENDERSON, aged 23, of no fixed abode. Admitted assault by beating and given a six-week prison sentence. Also admitted resisting arrest at Weymouth and damaging a front door of unknown value. Given a two-week prison sentence to run concurrently. The total sentence given was six weeks.

RICHARD DAMIEN WOOD, aged 38, of Mitchell Street, Weymouth. Admitted assault by beating and committed to prison for two months. Also admitted two counts of assault by beating and given a one-month prison sentence for each offence to run concurrently. The total sentence given was two months. Also admitted damaging a heater and Christmas decorations of unknown value without lawful excuse. No separate penalty given.

CHRISTOPHER IAN NYE, aged 29, of Sunningdale Road, Yeovil. Admitted driving a motor vehicle on a road, namely The Esplanade, Weymouth after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 69 micrograms in 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £320 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months. Also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Weymouth Magistrates Court having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Fined £150.

WARREN ROSS, aged 43, of Twyford Avenue, Portsmouth. Admitted driving a motor vehicle on a road or public place, namely Weymouth Bay Holiday Park, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion of it was 56 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £115 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Also disqualified from holding a driving licence for three years.

ANDREW JASON PHILLIPS, aged 23, of Hanover Road, Weymouth. Found guilty of driving a motor vehicle on a road, namely Wyke Road, otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class. Fined £175 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Licence endorsed with four points.

MATTHEW DAVID WYSLOCKY, aged 23, of Great George Street, Weymouth. Admitted driving a motor vehicle on a road, namely The Esplanade, otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class. Fined £55 and ordered to pay costs of £35. Licence endorsed with three points.

DENISE SUSAN BRYANT, aged 44, of Louviers Road, Weymouth. Found guilty of driving a motor vehicle on a restricted road, namely Wyke Road, in excess of 30 miles per hour. Fined £175. Also found guilty of driving a motor vehicle on a road otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising her to drive a motor vehicle of that class. Fined £175. Also found guilty of using a motor vehicle when there was not in force in relation to that use a policy of insurance. Fined £525 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Disqualified from holding a driving licence for six months and licence endorsed with six penalty points.

KIRI MARIE DERHAM, aged 24, of Mill Lane, Preston, Weymouth. Admitted driving a motor vehicle on a road, namely Seven Acres Road, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion of it was 90 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Disqualified from holding a driving licence for 24 months.

DALE ASHLEY WILLIAMS, aged 28, of High Street, Wyke Regis, Weymouth. Admitted driving a motor vehicle on a road, namely East Street, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion of it was 78 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £265 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Also disqualified from holding a licence for 18 months.

GLEN VICTOR BOYNTON, aged 45, of Rodwell Road, Weymouth. Admitted stealing Jean Paul Gaultier perfume to the value of £54.64 belonging to Debenhams Retail PLC. Community order made.

SUSAN KAVANAGH, aged 55, of Leamington Road, Weymouth. Admitted dishonestly failing to give prompt notification of a change in circumstances which would affect entitlement to benefits under any provision of social security legislation. Discharged conditionally for 18 months.

KIRSTY GAIL JONES, aged 33, of The Esplanade, Weymouth. Admitted stealing four cans of lager to the value of £6.50. Committed to prison for two weeks, suspended for 12 months. Also admitted stealing three Ginster pasties to the value of £5.97. Committed to prison for two weeks to be served consecutively, suspended for 12 months. Admitted stealing a bumble bee cuddly toy to the value of £12.99. Committed to prison for two weeks to be served consecutively, suspended for 12 months.

ANGELA MARY HAWKINS, aged 44, of Franchise Street, Weymouth. Admitted failing to leave relevant premises when requested by a person who worked at the premises in a capacity which authorised the making of such a request. Fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £50. Also admitted possessing a small amount of cannabis. Fined £50 and cannabis forfeited.

SAMUEL ADRIAN MITCHELL, aged 20, of Westwey Road, Weymouth. Admitted stealing eight cans of Stella Artois lager to the value of £8. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £8.

ADRIAN JOHN HARPER, aged 55, of Kirtleton Avenue, Weymouth. Admitted failing to comply with a direction given by a police officer to leave a public place, namely Ladymead Hall, Portland, and not return for a period of 24 hours. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
