One of the many workshops available at the Careers College was one run by the Ambulance Service, above, in which students were given a talk and demonstration from trained professionals.
Charlotte Davies, 13, from Sturminster Newton High School told us the workshop gave her great insights into the aspects of how to become a paramedic and that it would definitely be an option for her career in the future.
Her enthusiasm and that of the other students showed us how much of an effect the presentation had on their confidence and attitude towards the work of paramedics.
