FOLLOWING the publication of Carole Kelly’s photo of St John’s School in Weymouth on July 9, reader Peter Hawkins has contacted us with a less-battered copy of the image which was taken in the 1950s.
He has also put his ‘grey matter’ to the test and came up with a list of names of his classmates.

Peter added: “There were two forms per year at the school and it would be interesting if anyone had a pic of the other one. I am still in touch with some of the people in the other form but they weren’t able to improve on the rol1-call I have done.”
