THE Dorset History Centre (DHC) in Dorchester is appealing for people to help shape the future of Dorset's archive service.
The centre is currently conducting an online survey to understand the things that people value about the archives service, but also the areas where we could change and improve.
Sam Johnston, county archivist, is encouraging as many people as possible to complete the online survey, whether they have used DHC before or not.
The survey will provide the centre with invaluable help in gauging the views of those who use, or potentially might use DHC.
Sam said: "DHC’s storage repositories are filling up and the service is looking ahead to a major capital building project which will allow us to continue collecting the county’s unique heritage for many years to come.
"The findings of this survey will help to shape the outcomes of the project we hope to deliver."
Those who complete the survey by November 4 will go into a draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
