SETTLE down for the greatest camp fire story ever told these summer holidays.

Enjoy an outdoor family adventure at the Kingcombe Centre at Toller Porcorum near Dorchester on Thursday August 24.

This interactive adventure, Rustle, from the PaddleBoat Theatre Company, is jam-packed with puppets, songs and outdoor surprises.

Help set up camp and settle down for the greatest campfire story ever told: where sleeping bags evolve into monsters, rucksacks become friends and torches highlight the forest's closest secrets.

Born from the vibrant city of Exeter, PaddleBoat Theatre is committed to delivering high-quality productions for children and families across the South West. Yvonne Gallimore, Artsreach Co-Director said β€œIt’s exciting to be bringing back this young, dynamic company from the region for a really exciting outdoor performances for children and their families this summer.”

An exciting pre-show workshop accompanies the performance, where children will learn how to tell their own campfire stories, from spooky forests, terrifying creatures, mystical beasts and triumphant endings.

The set for Rustle will be created out of camping equipment, and children will learn puppetry skills to transform mundane objects into something amazing: sleeping bags become hungry mouths, mosquito nets become ghoulish ghosts and anything is possible...

The play is suitable for children aged four and their families. Workshop places are limited and must be booked in advance. For more information about this show and workshop, contact the Kingcombe Centre on 01300 320684.
