WOOF: Hector the dog with singers on South Street
Hector the dog entertained last minute shoppers with his favourite Carol - ‘Bark The Herald Angels Sing’.
Hector joined in with gusto when the Dorchester and District Christian Aid Group gathered to sing in South Street on the Saturday before Christmas.
The carol singing was arranged to draw attention to Christian Aid’s seasonal appeal for Sudan and Burkina Faso where children do not have enough to eat.
Lee Rhodes from the group said: “A brilliant effort raising nearly £350 in just one hour – thanks so much to all for the great singing and Hector’s memorable contribution.
Donations made up to Monday, February 5.
