GIVE something back this Easter.
Until Maundy Thursday the ASDA supermarket on Newstead Road in Weymouth will be doing a special food collection.
They will be collecting donations from shoppers of chocolate eggs and sweets to go to children at the Women’s Refuge in Dorset and the Weymouth Food Bank.
Sandra West, community life champion at the store, urged people to get involved.
She said: “There will be a lot of children this year who won’t get Easter eggs.”
Shoppers can drop off sweet treats in the trolley by the community board. The goodies will then be divided up on Thursday evening and sent to the food bank and refuge.
