MOTORISTS are being warned of icy conditions after water ran on to a Weymouth road.
Police have put out a message about the issue in Coombe Valley Road, Weymouth.
As reported, temperatures are expected to plummet in the next couple of days, with the possibility of snow.
A spokesman for Wessex Water said the company was called at 8.30pm.
Initially it was believed a main had burst, but engineers have discovered the water is running off a nearby field. The cause is as of yet unknown.
The spokesman added that this had led to some standing water on the road and motorists should be aware.
