Firefighters alerted to Weymouth bin fire
FIREFIGHTERS were alerted to a bin fire in Weymouth.
One crew from Weymouth were called to St Mary Street this afternoon at approximately 2pm to a report of a bin on fire outside the Nationwide Building Society.
One fire engine attended the scene but the fire was out on arrival and no further action was taken by the service.
Crews say the cause of the fire was accidental.
