Popular charity dragon boat race returns to Weymouth beach
ORGANISED by the Melcombe Regis Rotary Club, the Weymouth Dragon Boat Challenge is held on August Bank Holiday Sunday.
Sponsored teams raise money for rotary charities and put on a race at the beach in dragon boats, spurred on by the sound of drummers.
The event takes place on August 30 from 10am until 4.30pm.
