It may be cold out but winter can be wonderful, as this video shows.
Alyson Curtis shot the footage of Osmington Mills on her quadcopter - a type of drone.
She said: "I used my DJI Phantom 3 standard quadcopter to take the footage from Osmington Mills. I always take a lot more footage than I use but then edit it all down later.
"I have done a few aerial videos before and I'm still learning every time I fly and edit but I was quite pleased with this one. It has an almost melancholy feel to it."
Alyson added: "I'm looking forward to doing more videos through the year."
