British royalty is meeting pop royalty tonight at the premiere of Christopher Nolan's war epic Dunkirk.

Weymouth is also set to be the star of the show as some scenes in the film were shot in the town, as well as scenes which were filmed at Swanage railway.

Prince Harry joins namesake Harry Styles at the world premiere of the hotly-anticpated film.

The fifth in line to the throne was expected to walk the red carpet alongside three army veterans who served in Dunkirk, Kosovo and Afghanistan respectively.

Ahead of the premiere this evening, Harry hosted a reception at Kensington Palace for Dunkirk veterans highlighting the lasting impacts of war on the mental health of service men and women.

Starring former One Direction member Styles, the film tells the story of the chaotic rescue of Allied soldiers during the Second World War.

Style's co-stars in the film including Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy and Mark Rylance, will also be in attendance at the Odeon in Leicester Square, as well as director Nolan.

The popularity of the singer has helped the Twitter fandom go wild with #Dunkirk currently trending on the social network.

Dunkirk is released in the UK on July 21.
