A HEAD-ON collision between two cars blocked the A354 Weymouth Relief Road earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3.30pm today to the Jurassic Roundabout after two cars, a white BMW registered to a woman from Wareham, and a grey Citroen C4 registered to a man from Oxfordshire, collided.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance service said one person had been taken to Dorset County Hospital following the crash, but the injuries sustained were not thought to be serious.
Traffic was slow but moving around the area following the crash and a recovery vehicle arrived shortly afterwards to remove the damaged cars. The road was re-opened at 4.50pm.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said on arrival, all of the people were out of the vehicles.
The road is now clear following the crash.
