A FIRE involving a dishwasher was extinguished in Swanage.
The fire service was called to Lower High Street at around 6.30pm to deal with the incident.
The police closed the street while the fire was brought under control.
The road re-opened again at around 8pm.
Fire crews from Swanage and Wareham both attended.
It was extinguished using two hose reel jets.
