A motorcyclist has been injured following a crash with a car in Owermoigne.
Emergency services were called to the A352 Wareham Road this afternoon following a collision between a silver Volvo, registered to a man from Dorchester, and a black Suzuki motorbike registered to a man from Newton Abbot.
The ambulance service attended the scene and it is believed the motorcyclist injured his arm and shoulder in the crash.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 3.34pm to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision outside the Wyevale Garden Centre in Owermoigne.
“A road closure was put in place between the Warmwell roundabout and the Texaco Garage.”
The road was reopened at 4.53pm and recovery arrived for the vehicles at 5.09pm.
Traffic is still slow in the area.
