UKIP opposes HS2 scheme
Jane Burnet’s assertion (Letters, October 30) that the Green Party is the only Westminster Party to oppose the building of HS2 is incorrect.
UKIP led the way in showing our opposition to HS2 by paying for mobile advertising in central London during 2013.
UKIP’s fundamental belief on the issue is that if, and it is a big IF, there is money available for transport links, it should be spent on improving all road and rail access to the South West – especially West and South Dorset.
