What a joy it was to be part of the Sing-a-thon at Tesco’s Portland on November 12. Anna Eveleigh, who led the singing did a remarkable job, not only gathering so many singers together, but she also devised a repertoire that kept us all happily singing for three hours.
Singing For the Brain, which she leads, is a wonderful way for people with dementia to enjoy music. Everyone can gain something from the experience. Singing along adds to the pleasure and Anna’s skill and expertise makes it easy and fun.
On Wednesday, December 10 all those who would like to join us to sing are very welcome at C2000, Easton. There will be Christmas carols, coffee and mince pies to tempt you along.
