Singing with Loders Choir
ON Sunday October 11 some 400 choristers gathered at Salisbury Cathedral for the annual festival. Some members of Loders choir travelled to take part.
We rehearsed in the afternoon followed by a service based on the Magna Carta which is being celebrated this year. The cathedral has an original copy on display.
Although a long sing, it was good singing new music some of which Loders Choir hope to use in future. As with most church choirs, Loders would welcome new members to sing hymns and anthems as well as attending the festival next year.
