WEYMOUTH 2 (Critchell 6, Ford 16)
ST ALBANS CITY 0
AN early two-goal blast saw the Terras record a fantastic victory over St Albans City at the Bob Lucas Stadium this afternoon.
Kyle Critchell returned for the hosts and opened the scoring by flicking home a cross from Barry McConnell, before Mark Ford doubled the lead on 16 minutes with a fine strike across keeper Nick Jupp.
St Albans then tried to respond but they nearly conceded a third when Sam Poole got on the end of a corner, only to see his header hacked off the line just before the break.
Many expected a better showing from the visitors in the second half but the Terras completely snuffed them out to pick up a fourth victory in five games.
