THE Terras are on the brink of making a double loan swoop, Echosport can reveal.
It is understood manager Brendon King is set to boost his squad, which has been hit by suspensions and injuries, with a central defender and a midfielder.
The two players are close to sealing a move to the Bob Lucas Stadium with the relevant paperwork set to be completed today.
Once it has, the Dorset club will reveal the identity of the men who would plug gaps left by Ed Palmer, Craig Duff and Scott Walker, who all face bans, and long-term injury absentee Kyle Critchell.
Meanwhile, the Terras, in conjunction with the Supporters’ Association, will donate 50 per cent of the income from all child admissions to Saturday’s game against Redditch United to the Weymouth Carnival fund. Entry is £3 per child.
“The club is committed to helping the community and realises how important the carnival is to the town and local businesses that support the club as well,” said Terras’ commercial director Shaun Hennessy.
