GOSPORT BOROUGH 1 MAGPIES 1

STEVE Walker's second-half strike gave the Magpies their first Skrill South point of the season.

The centre-half cancelled out Dan Wooden's 22nd-minute opener at Privett Park this afternoon.

The draw brings to an end Dorchester's woeful start to the campaign, which came to a head on Saturday when they lost 6-2 at home to Whitehawk.

Now they have arrested a run of three straight losses, Phil Simkin's men can now look to kick-start their season into life.

Gosport had the better of the chances but the Magpies deserved something for their efforts and afterwards Simkin was slightly disappointed they didn't go on to win the game.
