WEYMOUTH ABC has reopened for business and has high hopes of another successful season for the club.
The doors were opened last night for ladies’ boxercise and tonight the boxers are welcomed back to training.
Officials are inviting new members, young and old, to get involved and become a part of a thriving sports club.
And it won’t be long before the club’s big boxing and dinner show comes round again.
Tickets can now be reserved from president David Nelmes on 07899925316 for the event at Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday, November 23.
The club enjoyed a memorable season last time out with Dan Hearnshaw and Chloe Le Page picking up the Weymouth ABC top senior and junior boxer of the year awards respectively.
They received the Roy Elliott Shield from Roy’s son Jim while William Mullins was among a number of youngsters to receive medals and certificates from Coun Pamela Nixon for passing the Agincare Kid Gloves Scheme.
The club is very grateful to the support from the Elliott family and would like to thank Agincare, their sponsors for a number of years.
